"If one of the rooms connected by the opened hatch contains a high- water Flood token and the other room has no Flood token at all, the water level equalizes between the two rooms: flip the high-water Flood token to the low-water side, and add a low-water token to the other room. A player cannot enter a room at high water if he is in a room at low water (i.e., the room at low water must be pumped before a player may open the adjoining hatch)."
"When a hatch is opened between a room with a high-water Flood token and a room with a low-water Flood token or no Flood token at all, the water level in both rooms becomes low water."
This there an error here? Does high-water flood equalize when there's low-water outside? Of course this is only relevant in the situation where a gnome is standing in a high-water room and is going out of it, since it's not possible to open a hatch from a low-water flooded room to a high-water flooded room, but good to know.

This there an error here? Does high-water flood equalize when there's low-water outside? Did this change in the newer edition? That's not the way it used to work.
If they changed that, that means this image is no longer correct, which, for me, will totally ruin the game as a simulation.

It was changed when the rules were updated, but I believe Bruno Faidutti has already given his opinion that he does not like the change and that it wasn't his idea to change it. FFG made that change themselves.

So what exactly is the original (1st Edition) ruling on High Water to Low Water and vice versa?
I'm looking at the 1st Edition rules right now, because there's been some debate in our games. It says, "If one of the rooms connected by the opened hatch contains a High Water token, and the other room has no Flood token at all, water equalizes between the two rooms." (Reflow Water pg 9) Both room would then get a Low Water token. The manual also says, "If the room is at high water, it is not possible to enter the room at all." (pg 10).
We've played like this: (1st Edition) 1) Player is in Low Water room, can open hatch to High Water room but cannot enter (no reflowing). 2) Player is in High Water room, can open hatch to Low Water room (it doesn't say exiting a High Water room is impossible). No reflowing. 3) Replace "Low Water" with "No Flooding" in the previous two statements, and the hatch can be opened and water reflows.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll play without reflowing when opening hatch between high and low water because it makes most sence. And if Bruno Faidutti says that is best way, then it's a no-brainer
