Ok lets say that a creature with no shroud has an enchantment, then someone gives the creature the shroud abilitiy, what would happen with the enchantment? does it stay or not?

Thanks.

The enchantment stays on the creature.

Note that this is different to a creature gaining, say, "Protection from Blue" when enchanted with the blue aura "Mind Control" as Protection removes all enchantments of the appropriate type (702.15c).

Shroud has no such rule associated with it. You wouldn't be able to cast a new enchantment on the creature. Existing enchantments are fine.

There's an odd interaction with Enchantment Alteration and similar spells - as Enchantment Alteration allows you to move an enchantment from one permanent to another, but doesn't use the word "target" to describe that permanent, it's legal to move (say) an Arrest from one creature to a creature with Shroud!

Cheers,
Merric
