yeah, really. Why is that so hard to believe? They aren't very favourable... maybe they work for big guys (XXXL and more), but for small girls? not really. no. It just looks weird.

Great job Jess. You did unscripted interviews smoothly with excellent balance between giving the interviewee the space to talk and yet knowing just the right question to ask at the right time to keep the conversation moving. A skill many big time network interviewers seem to lack.
Looking forward to episode 3.

Fantastic Video, and one we're sharing with our friends on why we enjoy BGG con so much. Thanks to all involved!

Love the video, not so keen about the shirts though.
Granted, they look nice on the guys, but please get the girls some nice BGG girlies!

Excellent video, and well done! Very nice narration.
I'll also chime in about the shirts. I think they're a silly distraction, that has no point. I'm not going to suggest something more revealing, but how about something less distracting (read: normal, everyday wear)?
The two guys with meeple-painted white jackets look stupid as well, but at least theirs has a point. American football jerseys have nothing to do with boardgames.
Maybe I'm just a hater. I'm an equal-opportunity hater though, because I also don't like to see BGG guys in tight-fitting catsuits either. Sometimes, I'm embarrassed to call myself a gamer. I know, I know, I'll get flamed for this, but it needs to be said.
You see, what otherwise would have been a great video has caused me to focus most of my post on the distracting part--the outfits.
I'm done now, sorry to be a stick in the mud.

The thing about the jerseys is that it is easy to find someone that knows what is going on easily at the Con.
For the video series I agree that it might be a little too much. When I see football jerseys on a screen, I subconsciously expect there is going to be someone getting tackled from out of nowhere.

So here's my theory, and I don't know Aldie or Derk at all...
Aldie and Derk like Board games. Aldie and Derk like football. Aldie and Derk like football jerseys and therefore make them uniforms for BGG staff members.
I think they're pretty cool... and would want one myself, except I'm nowhere near cool enough...
It's their world here, and we're all livin' in it.

While 'moi' actually played USA "Football" in competitive engagements, yet, I ONLY have an "Ireland" Soccer jersey, and where's the 'fairness' in THAT?!? WHAR "R"? ~

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.
Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

Thanks Jess & Lincoln for the show. Will there be one featuring some of the roving interviews from BGG.CON or has that ended up on the cutting room floor

These things are difficult to find. A common page that lists each episode as it is added (for sake of bookmarking) would be great.
IF it takes off (which I feel it naturally will) a sub-heading under Browse, maybe TV would be appropriate?

Agree. I tried using the Search function and it doesn't appear to take quotes, defaults back to games rather than forums, and doesn't come up with the episodes in the results. I'd rather the search function were improved, but barring that, this needs it's own place.

Hey!
I'm so excited to hear all the excellent feedback! Such an improvement over the last episode. I read each and every comment and have taken it all into consideration (as I'm sure Lincoln and Aldie have as well). You all made my week . Of course, I have some personal critique that I am going to work on, it's no where near perfect (performance-wise) but it's getting better! On the production-side of things, how about it? Fantastic, am I right? Lincoln did an epic job (Nikki's graphics were sweet, too) he's the real hero, cutting out all my blunders.
On the topic of shirts, believe it or not, I had my jersey tailored! Of course I didn't have them take it in all the way, but it was even bigger to begin with. In 2010 they ran small (so I am told) last year they ran big. What can you do? Maybe this year, Beth and I can wear them as dresses. (Kidding!)
Anyways, a big thanks to everyone, you're the reason we do it!
