Hey guys,
Today I received my copy of Tannhauser in the mail!!! I have been looking for a good miniatures game that I didn't have to paint and one that used a board as opposed to table top style. After doing research here at BGG and finding Miah's blog I knew Tannhauser was the game for me. I ordered Tannhauser, Equipment cards, Ramirez, Hoax, Oksana, Asteros, Gorgei, Wolf, Hoss, Iroh, Mizu, Reich Trooper Pack, & Union Trooper Pack.

After opening them all, I have one question and two complaints (not with the game itself).

QUESTION: With the Reich and Union Trooper Packs and all the Heroes I bought, I could field two Union, or Reich armies against one another. Is there an advantage using the expansion trooper packs over the base trooper packs? I haven't really read ALL the instructions and expansion books yet so I am not sure. I didn't know if the expansions came with additional equipment, abilities, etc.

COMPLAINTS: Again, I am not complaining about the game itself, which I am quite pleased with!

1.) Hoss' sword hilt was broken in the package which is nothing that a lil' super glue can't fix.

2.) OK, this is the big one! Like I said above, I ordered the Ramirez expansion, but when I opened it, IT WAS GORGEI!!! No kidding! It had a Gorgei figure in it along with his instruction booklet and punch-outs! This really sucks. I didn't buy it used off e-bay either. I bought a new copy of it from a retailer online and as far as I could tell, it was still factory sealed.

Well, thanks for listening to my excitement/rant. I can't wait to play the game!

I'm a relative noob here at BGG and this is my first post!
Cheers!

The Trooper Packs do include more Trooper equipment that is not in the base game and it is very powerful equipment.

You should contact FFG's customer service, they're really behind on things but they will help you out as soon as they can.

Email them here: customerservice@fantasyflightgames.com

Try to send them a picture, of the messed up Ramirez pack.
