I am a bit confused by this entry in the Errata/Clarification here: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AaKQb2vSJY2BZGR4MzQ3ajVfM...

Quote:
To bring on reinforcements, the American player transfers, from stock, as many CUs as the number on the OPS Card (i.e., with a 3 OPS Card, 3 CUs) to a single space (just one space guys, doesn't matter how many OPS you spend or how many CUs you place, you can only stick them ALL in ONE SINGLE, space) that does not contain a British CU or PC marker.

I was always under the assumption that you can bring American reinforcements in up to 2 different spaces per game turn (using 2 different ops cards), but the extremely heavy emphasis that it doesn't matter how many ops you spend makes me doubt that understanding. In fact, I thought I read in the C3i article that this ability to recruit in up to 2 different spaces at a time was an advantage that the Americans held. Can the Americans recruit in 2 different spaces per game turn or not?

Right, the FAQ is describing and limiting a single Reinforcement card play, which the Americans may do up to twice per year.

Good; I have been playing it right then all along. I was pretty sure about that prior to reading the FAQ. I guess the reason for the extra-super-emphasis is because people were using multiple ops from the same card for multiple recruit spaces, which is already against the rules as written, but I guess needed extra emphasis. *phew*
