I'm not quite done punching out all the parts but so far I've had six of the CP tokens not punch out properly and become unusable. Will I really miss them though? Should I try to get them replaced or is there usually more than enough of the tokens in any given game?
As a side note I have some red glass disks I had plan to use at health trackers rather than the "heart" side of the CP tokens.

I had exactly the same problem when I got the game. A quick email to Z-Man fixed it. It's not essential, but of you use the CP counters as directed they will be at a premium, so it's worth checking out if they still have replacement parts for your messed up ones.

I did my punching okay, bu later found out that in 4player 8+character sags games there are not enough of them in some situations..
anyhow I see them fully replaceable.. but the original ones have one great advantage: they are small just right..

If you do use these disks for health, then I would think you would have plenty of CP's, but I would shoot off an e-mail to Z-man in any case.
By the way, if you use a "double punch" method on the rest of your tokens, it helps a lot to alleviate messing them up. You just carefully push one way, then the other to get a good separation. It worked for me anyway.

That's how I always punch my components out. Finally finished all of the components and a total of 8 CP counters didn't not punch out properly. No amount of caution would have got these 8 out either. They simply were not cut properly. I even tried using a razor and they were not having it.

No degree of caution would have saved mine, as they simply weren't cut correctly in the first place. The odd thing about it was that adjacent components on the same sheet worked just fine. I hope Z-Man still have a supply of replacement counters for you, but even if they don't the game is still eminently playable, as there is no depletion mechanic of any kind relying on a specific number of counters. And as has been mentioned before, substitutes for particular tasks don't go astray even when you do have a 100% complete game.

How long does Z-man usually take to respond? I sent them an email last week and have not heard back from them yet. Never dealt with z-man on a customer service level so I don't know what to expect.

When exactly did you contact them? If it was late last week, I'd be inclined to give them a little bit longer. Once more than a full week has passed though, it might be worth contacting Ludically, mentioning that you have tried without success to contact Z-Man. They may be willing to help you.
Still, I expect Z-Man will probably come through for you. They may well just be going through a busy spell for one reason or another.

Well it was Wed. I was going to give them a week before emailing again. Just wanted to see what other people's experience with z-man was for customer service.

FWIW, I got a reply almost immediately, but one data point, from roughly a year ago, is hardly a large enough sample size to make any assumptions.

Only good experience. The only times I've seen them be slow is when vacations or tradeshows comes around.
