Hive iOS will be coming back on the 9th of February 2012.
Because there has been a change of developer accounts and Apple will not just let us transfer the app to the new account,
we unfortunately cannot just present it as an update, so for 7 days we will present the game for free.
We don't want fans of the game to have to pay for the app a second time, so that is why we are releasing it for 7 days as a free app.
After that point it will be a paid app.
We except that people who did not originally buy the game will also download it for free, but that's okay as long as the original buyers have a chance to download it again.
Please spread the word.

oh noes!...I just last week convinced myself that my android OS tablet was fine and there was no reason for me to get an ipad...
and now THIS! 
There's not by any chance plans to port this over to the droid at some point now that you have a new developer is there?

Yes we do have an Android Hive app currently in development and also an Xbox game

App looks almost exactly the same. (I was hoping some refresh here)
iPhone only. Pieces look pixelated on iPad.
No retina graphics? (just a guess)
Online doesn't work.
Not sure how this is an update of the original.

The app is the same as the old, but it should have been with online play.
Unfortunately for some strange reason even though in beta testing online worked fine, its not working now. My one crashes every time I try to log-in for online play We've got bugs in a game about bugs. The developers will be working hard to get this fix, so please be patient with them. The other updates we are all hoping for will come later, it was just importaint to us to get the game back first and then work on the rest later.
