While playing a round of AGOT 2nd edition, Barratheon attacked Stark at an overwhelming advantage. Stark played Roose Bolton to regain all his house cards after defeat and Barratheon played Patchface, which after combat allows him to remove a house card from his opponents hand. Both of these are after combat actions, so which is resolved first?

If Stark resolves first, he regains all his cards (and he had some good cards on the table); then, Barratheon moves one of these good cards. If Barratheon resolves first, he removes a card, which will return to Starks hand when he resolves his card.

We went in the order of the Iron Throne track.

Patchface House Card vs Roose Bolton House Card
If Patchface were played against Roose Bolton (who loses the battle), would their effects be carried out in turn order or does one card always get resolved before the other?

"As Patchface’s card refers to “after combat”, Roose’s text ability is resolved first, followed by Patchface’s. The Stark player would first draw all his cards back to his hand and then the Baratheon player would look through his newly drawn hand to choose one to discard. This is another issue we will fully address in the FAQ."

Also note that in case of immediate effects, resolution of cards is determined by the order of Fiefdom. It's in the FAQ of the old edition I do think.

This is true for 1st edition. In 2nd edition the rules state that it is in the order of the Iron Throne track.
