Ok, so we played the expansion yesterday, and we got some questions. One of them was concerning Frida Kahlo.
On the card it say
Quote: Any time: You may discard this card to discard any culture events you don't want and then draw enough culture events to fill your hand. Draw from the culture deck for the area on the culture track that you culture marker is in.
Ok, to start with we have two different interpretations of the first part: 1. You discard any of your own culture event cards on your hand. 2. You discard a culture event that someone else played which you "don't want".
Then you draw cards to fill your own hand - with this, it made much more sense (to me at least) to use 1.
Secondly, with mysticism you get "When you draw a culture event card, draw an extra card from that deck, keeping one and discarding the other.
So, the way we interpreted these together, was that for every one card we then should draw (4 in total), we draw two, and choose one of them, before going to the next. So in total we drew 8 cards, and kept 4. I assume this seems correct?
Now to the next problem: when can we use this card? It says "any time", but does that mean when its not my turn? So, in our case, person A used a resource ability to destroy person B's wonder. Person B then wanted to use this great person in order to try to get a Primetime TV event card in order to block this resource ability from A. Was B allowed to do that? Or would he need to have the Primetime TV card on his hand when A used his ability to block the destruction of the wonder?

You understand it correctly.
You can at any time discard her to draw X number of cards, where X is the number of cards you discarded. With Mysticism you are going to draw them a pair at a time discarding one before going on to the next pair. Because it says any time you could use it to interrupt something else, in hopes of getting the card you need.
You fill your hand to your current culture card hand size (maximum).

You mean where X is your current Hand Size - the number of cards currently in your hand (after discarding the ones you didn't want)? Or did I really misread that much? "To fill your hand"?
I must also note that I am quite happy with the speed at which you reply to my posts =)

I'm sorry, but I still don't get what you mean by that

example:
A has 2 culture event cards (but hand size of 3). A uses the great person. A discards 1 card. A now has 1 card left (but hand size of 3). A can then fill up his hand with 2 new cards? (X = 2?)
By your definition, X would be 1 (the ammount of cards he discarded)?
Do you assume he has a full hand to start with?

Just to second Plux, his interpretation is correct: you discard X, and regardless of how many you discard, you draw until you have your maximum number of cards in hand.
