Hey guys.

Im wondering if anyone knows of anywhere which can give me the map tile layouts for each scenario without also show the monsters and items.

Idea being, when my group plays, we like to have a game setup ready to go to start the evening off quickly, but tonight we want to start with descent, but I do not want to be the Overlord.

So basically I want to be able to setup the map tiles ready, without knowing the details of the scenario.

Does anyone follow me, and if so, anyone got any ideas where I can find something to help me?

Basically no, sorry. Everything else in the game is available online. The rules, the stats, the dice, the cards etc etc. The only thing not publicly available, the only thing that protects FFG IP, is the scenarios.

I don't think anything like this exists. I'm sure someone with the TileSet could be willing to make some pictures for you that you could just print out. I'd do it myself if I had the software readily at hand. If I understood you correctly all you want is the empty map layout without all the monsters, chests, etc.

Sorted.

I found this

http://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/32036/error/expired/dungeo...

which had all the layout I wanted with minimal extras, just needed to delete the doors and glyph icons from all area apart from the starting one and viola, got what I wanted.

I have been using MapTool to facilitate online Descent. It was a very long and complicated process to make the game playable. But, drawing out the dungeon framework takes literally 2 minutes after watching the 8 minute tutorial. I would recommended this utility for your purposes. Just draw the dungeon and take a screen shot and email / print.

That is fantastic. I've been really stymied with the game as I have a real problem setting up the map exactly to the specifications set out in the rulebook: I find it very confusing and difficult to differentiate between the various map tiles, and this should help a lot

Just like to say to the OP sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were basically asking for the complete quest maps, but Gawain's reply showed my misunderstanding up.
