I am playing the Ipad version and its auto set to have you play the female in the color yellow. When I tap the other characters it simply changes if they are in the game or not. I am wondering how you change your character and color so I can play different people/colors.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Well, each character has an associated color, so you cannot change that. You can however change your default character. You will be that character as long as you created the game or no one has also chosen that particular character in a game you join.
Here's how. Go to More, then Settings. You will see a portrait of a certain character. Swipe left or right and pick whoever you would like to be.
Just not yellow, that is my color.....

Thanks! Hadnt tried going to settings...iv never seen a game that makes you switch stuff like this in settings!
It was just getting to the point where it was slightly annoying me to being with, but then tonight I actually lost a game of the non IPAD version of TTR when playing with friends. I was playing blue(as I usually do)but for a second I got confused and thought I was yellow since that is the color I have gotten used to playing on the Ipad. I made the mistep in the last few turns and because of it I didnt complete a route for 8...so that sets you back 8 vs ahead 8. A 16 point difference in a game that I lost by just 3 points!

Ouch! I have similar troubles when I play on iOS a different color than what I usually chose on table. For instance, if I play any other color than yellow on Carcassonne on iOS, I will lose.
