australian edition + german expansion | Le Havre

Hi.

I was lucky to dig a copy of this fantastic game in Germany. I got the australian edition, my question is if the card backs of of the german expansion will be indistinguishable from the original ones from he australian edition.
I know the image is the same but sometimes cards that are printed in different places have tones that are slightly different making it possible to differentiate between card backs.

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.

Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

Both the Australian and German base games would have been printed at the same place at the same time.

The expansion was probably printed later, but probably at the same place. I would say it would match both original base games equally.

Except the language. The only hidden information is the special buildings and these have printed "Sondergebäude" in German and "Special building" in English on their backside. So, in fact, they do not match.

Of course, stupid of me to ask.

I will try to find an English one. I could randomize the special buildings in other ways or buys sleeves with covered backs, but I prefer looking for the English expansion.
