The game arrived yesterday. I won't be able to devote much time to gaming until after the 20th, but I did peek I the box. I was really surprised at how short and easy the rules appeared. This will be a lot easier to get into than I anticipated.

I have to jump in and add that I think this is a great game also. I picked up a copy in December, and played a short solo game of just the Common Wealth beaches. When I play solo games it is to get to know the rules and once I am comfortable with them my interest fades. Not with this one. I was so caught up in the story of what was happining that I played it till the end with the Brits falling short of a win by one VP! It was back and forth, but in the end my mismanagement of supply did the allies in. I just started a vassel game with Lord Cthulhu as the Allies and we are in the first phase of the beach landings. Boy did the poor U.S. Airborne have the worst luck!

Tom, nice action report, I love to see how other games play out, and the pics look great! If anyone is interested I would be willing to play anougher Vassal game just drop me a line.

Cheers,

Daniel

Trying to put together a 4-player vassal game, semi-live. I have 3 players for a sure and another maybe. If you Daniel or Mike are interested let me know. The other two guys will not have played the game yet so we will be learning and taking it easy.
