I'm really, really glad to see Eccleston on your list of favorites. I just finished David Tennant's run a little while ago, haven't seen any Matt Smith yet, but Christopher's acting is what made me love the show (particularly in the episode "Dalek"). Everyone always bashes on him, but he's MY doctor.

Which leads us to my next question.
Which of the Doctor's enemies do you like most, Nad, and why? Apart from the Master.

I'd even say that even though Tennant is awesome and everything, there's just this something in Eccleston that makes it hard NOT to love him. And it was rather difficult to get used to Ten after him.

Why, why apart from Master? I certainly cannot tell for the classic series, as I still have a huge amount of them to watch. In new series - of course, Daleks, Sontarans were not bad, Sycorax rocked, and the Family of Blood was awesome!

Congratz from Da Ork, too!
And while I'm here, let's also have a few questions:
1. Psychic paper or sonic screwdriver? 2. Daleks or Cybermen? 3. If you could spend 24 hours with any one person out of history, who would it be and what would you be doing? 4. Same question as 3., but this time with any one fictional person (books, movies, TV shows, everything...). 5. Have you designed your own board game (or tried to)? What is it about? 6. Why the hopping turtle?

Hey hey, good to have you back!

For Kathrin:
marble911 wrote: And just now, when you probably thought you were finally done answering questions, the mantis returns with some more! *evil laughter* So, here we go: Tea or coffee? - I like both, but drink more tea than coffee +35°C or -5? (we're talking normal working day, not lying on the beach kind of day) - generally, I like warmth, but between these extremes I'd choose -5. Plus our wet climate in my region makes heat really unbearable Worst game you've ever played? - Snow Tails What are your plans for after you've finished your thesis? - go get a kid Your ideal vacation - lying on the beach relaxing, or being active (sports, sightseeing)? - I'd like to get on a beach if possible, but mostly for swimming, and it may just be occasional, but sightseeing - totally yes! both city scapes and natural wonders. What is the most important thing in a relationship for it be successful (successful meaning that it lasts for many years and is beneficial to both partners)? - patience, understanding and the willingness for compromises from both sides Your greatest strength? - my ability to make friends with most folk (even those I don't want to ) If you could change one thing about yourself with the flick of a finger, what would it be? (not interested in physical traits, and also only in realistic changes) - I'd like to be less of a possessor If you could have one superpower, what would you want? - flying / teleportation or telekinesis, what would be available I'm lazy, yeah
Thanks!

Great answers Nad! It's interesting to see which ones we're similar in and which we aren't.

For Da Ork:
Corran Horn wrote: I'm late to the party, but: Congratz from Da Ork, too!And while I'm here, let's also have a few questions: 1. Psychic paper or sonic screwdriver? - for me personally - sonic screwdriver, but in this damn country psychic paper would be of use too 2. Daleks or Cybermen? - totally Daleks3. If you could spend 24 hours with any one person out of history, who would it be and what would you be doing? - Probably, Professor, I'll just stand there in awe Oh, I also could go and fight with William Wallace 4. Same question as 3., but this time with any one fictional person (books, movies, TV shows, everything...). - *all sorts of kinky thoughts rush through hobbit's mind* Yeah, you know I'll say "travel with the Doctor", but still Cleric Preston will be number 1 Other choices could include Agent Smith and Little John as he's portrayed in RH:MiT And not hard to guess what exactly we'll be doing (in case you still wonder - we'll be fighting Neo and steal from the rich and give to the poor, and ... no decent substitute for cleric )5. Have you designed your own board game (or tried to)? What is it about? - I haven't, but hubby did, it's about magic wars based on rock-paper-scissors mechanic6. Why the hopping turtle? - oh, just because he's so cute No special fan of TMNT, and I have heaps of TARDIS / hobbit avatars, but the first moment I saw him I know I wanted him for my avatar
Thanks!

Mostly people But I do tend to gather all sorts of things around me too, but those I really cling to are meaningful for one reason or another.
