Has anyone ever played the basic Battle Line game online at www.brigadepoker.com? I'm confused about how the score works when playing the campaign mode. The player who first arrives to 13 points wins the game, but what do you get points for? Also, do you think that playing the game as in the aforementioned online version, so that a formation containing a pair (2-2-3) is more valuable than three different cards (9-7-4), enhances it in any way?

Cheers.

Two things I just noticed:

1. Answering my own question, a player scores 5 points per round won plus one extra point for every flag left at the center.

2. Straights defeat flushes, which makes more sense to me than the actual rules of Battle Line. Isn't a flush far easier to achieve than a straight?
