$US 6.65 for the cards and shipping to Canada... I already bought the werewolves in December, can't let this go by! I'm a TS slut
Mind you there was a mention that promo cards would eventually be released in a future release, not sure if it means all promos, but they may be available to everyone soon.

Not much worse than the BGG promo store...at least when it was $1 per item and $4.00 shipping (I bought quite a few promos there for $5.00 a pop.)

Course, that might mean they are republished in the "Advanced" format, which might not be desirable.
I also need to order the Infinite City promo tiles, so I can cut down on shipping a little bit.

I find it hard to believe, but the same price applies for shipping to Romania, $7.

Thanks for posting this here, I had been negligent checking the Alderac store lately. Didn't really expect them to show up.

Thanks for the heads up on this. The completionist in me is happier, but the discount shopper side of me...not so much.

I'm getting a little bit frustrated here, lads. And I think I'm not the only one.
I'm a TS fan, and AEG should care for fans like me. I bought everything to play TS, because I really like your game. At the same time, though, you did not make it so simple, and I don't understand why! I mean... once I was a comic -book collector, and goin' around to find that special issue was part of the fun, but I can't find any fun in goin' crazy to buy promo cards for a game which you are still printing.
I'd like to buy promo#3, which is the only TS promo I don't have, but I can't! And nobody knows how many are thinking the same. Today, thanks to other geeks, I found out that promo#3 has been available for few days only, and it was incomplete! So, today, one could buy the three missing cards (and only those) but not the Werewolves.
And what to say about promo#2? It's simply disappeared...
Sorry, I love you, guys, but this isn't right. It isn't right at all.

In AEG's defense though, promo 1 was sent for free to everyone who signed up in time on the site to receive it... That's pretty awesome.
Additionally, promos aren't always made to be widely distributed, they can be a tool for publicity, for special events, etc. It's frustrating for fans who miss their chance to get them, but for what it's worth, AEG support did indicate that these promos would be available in later expansions eventually so high demand must have prompted that action.

I know the debate on limited promos has been discussed on many other threads. Personally, I don't mind cosmetic promos having limited availability. For example, Flying Frog makes alternate graphic versions of their cards and distributes them in a limited fashion. I think this is the right way to do it.
However, a publisher that creates promos that actually change gameplay (by offering new rules, extra choices, etc.) and then makes those available in a limited fashion frustrates me to the point that I don't want to own the game. Can I get the Thunderstone base game and the expansion packs and have a serviceable game? Sure. But do I want to support a publisher that creates (in this case) extra monsters and weapons and only makes them available to a small subset of people who buy their game? No.
As I mentioned in another thread regarding these expansions, I understand that it may not make financial sense for them to reprint and make available all of the promos they have distributed up to this point. I get that. If I own the company, I don't want to make moves that lose the company money--that's bad for business.
But as a customer, I am equally within my rights to give my business to publishers that make games that I will enjoy. And if there is a version of Thunderstone with 100 monsters (arbitrary number) and there is a separate version that has 105 monsters via promos (which many would argue are BOTH plenty for enjoyment of the game), and I can only get the 100 monster version because I didn't happen to start thinking about buying the game as far back as others did, or maybe I didn't go to a specific convention, or maybe I didn't check the AEG website in the short period of time a specific promo was in stock, then I'm not going to enjoy owning the copy with fewer playing choices.
The day ALL of the promos are available again is the day I pick up Thunderstone and expansions. I know someone *said* the promos will all get reprinted, but I will believe that when I see them actually available through one channel or another, not before. Until then, I will just vote with my wallet and spend my money on something else.

I hear what you are saying.
The problem with Thunderstone is that it's the kind of game that encourages collecting. You KNOW there's some cards out there you don't have and you WANT to have the full set.
This doesn't happen with other games. A promo for PowerGrid is fun and all, but people usually won't go out of their way to get their hands on it. Same with StarCraft:tbg. Those games are not exactly "collectible" and don't encourage you to go out of your way to get those promos.
There's also no mentions of the promos in the games you are buying most of the time, so unless you are somone who frequents BGG, you don't even know they exist. Now with Thunderstone, they include randomizers, dividers and other cards that scream to you: "YOUR GAME IS NOT COMPLETE!!!". This is what's annoying in this particular case.

Same here promo pack 2 and werewolves missing
Love promos but hate them. Bgg charges you $5 a set no matter how many you order even though they shove them all in one bag. Aeg is slightly better than that but it still all adds up.
Not sure how I feel after everything I've spent if they bring them out in a set now but at the same time I feel everyone should have them or have the chance, and besides I'm still missing some.

I understand the feeling. And again, as a fan of the Thunderstone franchise for a while now I am quite satisfied with their support. They've reprinted Promo 1 as not everyone managed to sign up to get them for free. They've added promo 2 as well as not everyone got them via FLGS. Werewolves too were available to FLGS and were added on the site as well, and finally these 3 missing cards. AEG support did say in December that they'd be available and they became available. Now they're saying promos will be available once again in an expansion, I see no reason to doubt them.
But going back to your point, the unfortunate part is if you deprive yourself from the fun. If not then great, and you can buy them once all promos are in later expansions if you wish.
