In the instructional video on the official Catan site (the one with Glover), they point out that a settlement cannot be built on a river bridge site (the corners where the dotted lines end) during initial placement however this rule is not mentioned at all in the instructions. Did they forget to put this in the instructions or is this a mistake in the video? The instructions do specify that you can't build a road on a bridge site during initial placement, so perhaps this is what they meant.

while you may place a settlement there on initial placement, you may not place a bridge instead of a road. (That rules restriction wouldn't make sense if you couldn't place a settlement there, would it?)
