Can one of the heroes hit a sleeping one to wake him up ?

I hope you can because my girlfriend can wake me up with a accidental elbow shoot, so I should be able to wake someone up by crushing his face with a hammer.

If yes, can a hero decide to do less damage than the maximum on the dices ?

And can he throw less dices than the maximum numbers of dices allowed in the normal attack ?

No, full damage. The attack hero can attack with no weapon (i.e. punch the target) with just a red dice (if I remember correctly).

No. Full attack or nothing.

Does the Hero have to add his trait's power dice? (and yes the punch is just one Red die) I didn't think they had to, but can't remember...

its a melee attack, therefore melee trsit dice are added.

just remember that power dice can be used for "added range" and surges don't have to be spent on anything if you don't want to.

Whence, in fact, trait dice may be ignored altogether unless you need range.
