It's possible (and of course happenend in our game) that in a single turn, the barbarian card appears twice and both rolls determine the arrival of Germans.
Our initial doubt was if it's possible to combine both forces in a single one if one leader pick up the other force, but looking at previous posts, there is one from mgringo stating that in scenarios V and VI there is a limit of one barbarian card per turn. We could not find the rule in the living rules. Is this confirmed? And in this case, would the second invasion card simply discarded?

Only one per turn. Yes it's discarded.
