We've played a few games and have always used the jump card as its own action after ending adjacent to a pit. Is this correct? Or can I use one or more jump cards within the context of a movement action, say moving 6 spaces with the Naga and jumping over two pits for a total of 3 action points and using up the two cards, all as one action. Or do I need to move to pit for 1action, jump for 1 action, move to the next pit for 1 action, and jump for the fourth action?

The correct procedure is: move adiacent to pit with 1 action, jump it with 1 action (play 1 jump card), move adiacent to the next pit with 1 action, and jump with onother action (play the second jump card).
Total=4 actions

Remember the Golden Rule on page 5 of the rules:

Any action must be fully resolved before starting a new one.
