Columns? I have no idea how to do that. I don't have anything worth looking at in my profile except Firefly and Firefly-related videos, but when I did try to mess with it several months ago I couldn't figure out anything like that.

I have no idea either. If you just go to the flag counter website does it have more info there?

If you look at the url like this one of n00bs
http://2.s08.flagcounter.com/count/LI9/bg=BDE0FF/txt=040445/...
you see all kinds of things you can modify. Change columns=6 to columns=whatever number you prefer. It should work if you make reasonable choices. Also good to know: make maxflags large enough if you want to see all the flags. There are currently 196 countries in the world.

OK, one time Randy Beaman had to take baths with his brother. So one time his little brother took a potty in the bathtub .....and now Randy Beaman gets to take showers alone. 'K, bye.
One time, OK, see, one time Randy Beaman's little brother ate Pop Rocks and drank a soda at the same time and his head exploded! 'K, bye.

Shameless plug -
Here's a quick geeklist I made detailing the 'code' of your flag counter. This should explain all the different entries and possible ways to modify you're look.
So you want a Flag Counter, but not sure where to start?

I really like Ashitaka's profile. I really like the way it is layed out with all the colors, Scrabble tiles, dice, quotes, and widgets that he has in it. I wish I knew how to add all of that stuff to my profile. Heck I just wish someone would show me how to design or choose a banner

Thank you I will try to get rid of my Firefly videos if I can part with them and do some jazzing up of my terrible profile.

*flushes* Thank you! I'm afraid some people don't like them being on there, but I just can't get rid of them! If people don't know Firefly, they need the introduction. And if people have forgotten Firefly, they need the reminder! Plus everyone also needs to know Castle and The Big Bang Theory, so I'm killin' three birds with one shot from the laser pistol I bought from the crew after giving Yosafbrig some of what she deserved in Trash.

It was Leonie's profile that got me into FTL. I saw her Star Trek avatar and her profile invite geeks to say hi, so i did and then i found myself feeling the love...
My profile is simple and informative. I've no idea whether geeks find it interesting but if any do feel free to message me

Sometimes I really wish for a thumb button inside profiles, or a small shoutbox to leave a short (100 characters maybe) comment (which the user may leave, or delete if inappropriate or insulting).
