Dude- Anonymous didn't have to do that. I've been tracking the Stormfront forums for about 10 years now.
There is nothing new here. I haven't liked Rep. Paul since 1994, when he first started getting in bed with the Militia movement people, but this is hardly news.

Obviously, this is not just for you. There are many that are buying his line that have no memory or experience with Ron Paul's nutjobbery... this is fresh.

1986 for me. Paul, Lyndon LaRouche and David Duke have been the White Supremacy candidates for president for some time.

Hardly? You dismissal is indeed amusing. These emails are from as early as a few weeks ago... and this American Third Position group is actually fielding a candidate on their own... Merlin Miller. So, it is relevant as news in that it is 1) Anonymous' continued exploits on political targets. 2) Fresh Ron Paul racist connection. 3) A new political party emerging with a white power agenda.
Please pay attention.

I am paying attention.
The David Duke organization has decided to distance themselves away from Paul, despite many members continuing to support him.
What heartens me is that amongst these losers there is no real clear consensus over who best represents them- they're bitter that the Tea Party backed Herman Cain, for one. The result is some pretty constant infighting.
So sure, some of these assholes have decided to continue back Paul, but neither I, nor the Southern Poverty Law Center, or Nizkor thinks that this is serious. At least, not the last time I checked.

No, attention to the fact that it is obviously news. If not for Ron or Merlin then for the ongoing exploits of Anonymous.

I'm unconvinced, if only because constantly crying 'wolf' over these guys only creates an attitude of 'meh' out in the general public.
I think these people have the potential to be very dangerous- but not at this particular moment. But to constantly harp on them only looks like 'PC Liberals' making a straw man about conservatives.
Which is why I keep an eye on them, but don't make a big deal about it. Until they really DO become dangerous.

I am not a liberal or PC. ...and this really has nothing to do with either case. Ron Paul is a lunatic. Is he dangerous? No, because he does not have a chance to win. Why my concern? Because people buy into candidates like Paul or Obama with what I think are good intentions. It has less to do with Paul than it has to do with the morons that follow him. I like what Colbert said back in 2008... I paraphrase: you know that part of the brain that makes placebos work? That is the same thing that makes people vote for Ron Paul.

Nice analogy--so who is running that is not a placebo candidate?

None from the major parties. At this point, voting is the placebo. Nothing will change unless the system is dismantled.

Just wondering if you can trust a hacker group as a legit news source. I'm against Paul, but I've known a few hackers as well and most of them are not above messaging the data to suit their needs. Any outside proof? I mean of the newest accusations.
For me just not distancing himself from the obvious racists who support him is cause enough to oppose him.
