Yes don't panic. You will have afew hours to grab it when the new release comes maybe in March but not later than April, but if not then in May but latest June.

I hope they'll be getting more of Mannequin Pis too. And the King of Tokyo promos. I didn't buy them early because I didn't have the games yet. Now I do (well, I'm still waiting for the KoT reprint) and the promos are all gone

I received mine in the mail yesterday... bent up. It was mailed in a bubble envelope. It's playable just not pretty. Ask for reinforced packaging when you place your order with BGG if you can.

Hey Mary- I received mine yesterday as well. Mine had a printing error where there was a white stripe across the bottom of the board. I contacted Kristine who runs the BGG store and she told me she keeps a few on hand in case of these situations and is replacing it. You might have some luck if you contact her soon.

I wonder if it was the whole 1st batch of Catan Island promos then. Hope the replacement copy doesn't have the same problem.

Ill stay hopeful about my replacement then. If anyone is getting desperate for a copy i'm trading my defective one away. Perfectly playable, I'm just picky.

Mine was bent also. It lies flat fine, but shows crease damage. I think the problem (in my case, any way) is the envelope can be squeezed into the mailbox, but it bends the card.

I didn't realize the white strip was a defect... I have that too. The stripe doesn't look too bad to me though. I think I'm just going to put a couple of heavy books on top to get it to flatten out. And Luckily, the playing card is fine. I would have contacted BGG if the playing card was damaged... that would affected the game.
I do think BGG should use those hard cardboard envelopes to mail cards and boards like this though.

Mine had a helpful "do not bend" stamp on the envelope. It either worked or else I got lucky.

My board was bent, but the rest of the package was fine, so it looked like the board had been sealed in plastic damaged...

Hi all,
In answer to some questions that have arisen:
1) Will there be more? Yes, I just do not have a definitive date.
2) Mine was bent, what do I do? Contact me and I'll should be able to replace it. Considering the number of boards I shipped out, this is a very rare occurrence, so do not expect this to be the norm.
3) There is a white stripe across the bottom, what do I do? I can't see the white stripe since the rule sheet covers that. If this is a MAJOR issue for you, you are welcome to see if I have any to replace it, but I will place preference to replacing damaged boards.

Unfortunately, my replacement also had a white stripe, but it's smaller this time and I think i'm just going to deal with it. Maybe I'll order another one in the second BGG store batch.
