The copyright laws from ACTA, will they mean the end of GeekDo?

I have some issues with the concept of "Intellectual Property" in general, but a quick read didn't show any of the sillier aspects of the US laws that were being proposed.

I sure hope they think this behemoth act thru. And don't come up with paradoxal and contraproductive laws. We'll see ...

I would 'concoct' some 'edible mask' with features "drawn out" like theirs, ONLY in 'chocolate' and 'luckily', then I have some Polish BIG bars kinds at this, since alas, I've "run out" for the Belgian assortment...

The problem is that us (Poland) not ratifying ACTA may not change anything, since some say that it is enough for 6 EU countries to ratify it to make it be in force (though there is some confusion about that). Well, at least some of our actions made our government to reconsider its stance and hopefully will force other countries to think about it twice.

The Czech Republic has joined Poland in suspending the ratification process. I salute them also.

Of possible amusement (comic about copyright law with allusion to ACTA and Poland at the end):

It's actually worse, I think. ACTA allows for the rights holder to enforce the treaty, e.g. Article 27 allows them to do so by DOSing offending sites without any kind of judicial process. Hard to say if that's a fair interpretation, but I'm glad people are paying attention.
