People have asked about whether RGG would eventually produce an official storage solution for Dominion once all of the (currently planned) expansions come out. If I recall correctly, Donald has responded saying that the time spent working on that would be better spend working on and producing new games. I can totally understand that, especially since standard CCG boxes do just fine for storing lagre amounts of cards.

That being said, I had a thought the other day about what I'd REALLY love to see RGG come out with: an official set of card dividers! I know that there are some fantastically well-designed dividers available to downloading and printing here on BGG, but I imagine for a lot of people (including myself) the effort of printing and cutting out all that stuff is more than they can be bothered with.

The next thing I thought of was that this would be the perfect opportunity to put out a "Greatest Hits" expansion, similar to what FFG has done with Miskatonic Horror, as some other Dominion fans have called for. We could have a couple of cards each using some of the mechanics used in previous expansions (durations, potion cards, etc.).

The great thing about putting these two things together in one package is that only "completists" would want the set of dividers, so the expansion cards would only go to those who already have all the necessary components to make them work.

Lastly, the package could contain a consolidated rulebook for all of the expansions in one place!

So, What do you think? Is there any chance of my Ultimate Dominion Collector's Expansion(TM) ever seeing the light of day?

I can't see myself wasting money on that when there are perfectly good dividers and a consolidated rulebook here on BGG. $10 to take them to your local print shop for top-quality printouts. The cards, maybe, but Donald has been pretty straight about how many cards there are plans for.

Call me a broken record, but I would rather see a storage solution.

I think the game could use miniatures and dice.

Now that you've Trademarked it? Probably not. Why to go.

Throw it all in with a storage box and its good to go. I like the idea of a set that has a few of everything. I like the idea of more potions alot because there are so few that if you play the 3-5 rule you play with the same ones alot. I would think there is enough interest that Rio would make good money if they made a storage box.

They already did. It is the box the original base set came in. Now I did not get Hinterlands and probably won't but all the other cards and metal bits from both base sets and all the other expansions fit inside the original box, once I removed the insert, with dividers some wonderful gamer produced that I printed up and cut to size in maybe two hours.

What I'd like to see is a complete edition set that's made of 100% plastic. The cards would be all plastic for longevity and ease of shuffling, and it would be housed in a nice large case for home storage, and a bonus or separate case to hold the base game with no more than two expansions.
Sure the cards would be a bit heavy, but it'll be certainly worth the weight and price to me, and the travel storage could make the weight lighter when carrying the game around.

I have Kem and Copag cards, and I'm sure some publisher could get in cahoots with them to create the greatest Dominion set.

Actually, has anyone done this as a project on artscow? I don't want to go through all the printing/cutting myself, but if I can buy it through artscow, rock 'em! Anyone have any suggestions?

I wholly support this idea. Getting collectible card game boxes is, while not exactly easy, since I have to order them online from abroad, at least not very time consuming. Making dividers on the other hand (scanning the insert, printing them in the right size, gluing on card board, and cutting) is very time consuming and boring. Even if I used the ones on BGG (which I don't like) I'd have to print, glue and cut, which is the biggest part of the job.

If it's one thing I'd like to see offered from RGG, it's card dividers.

Why not just print on thick card stock and then cut? That's what I do. They last a long time.
