It has to be lame question, but I never played BT yet and wonder if it is possible to somehow target a specific location of enemy mech? Just not sure that intro rules mention such possibility.

No.
Maybe an optional rule or advanced rule, but in the general basic rules, no.

There are basically three ways to target specific 'Mech locations in BattleTech.
In the introductory rules, the only one involves an immobile target 'Mech. If a 'Mech is offline, usually because it overheated or the pilot was knocked out/killed, attacking pilots can aim shots at specific locations. It is fairly easy to hit most locations, but tough to hit the head.
In the standard rules, which have more equipment available, a 'Mech using a Targetting Computer can aim for specific hit locations with some weapons. I don't think the Targetting Computer can target the head, but you can hit the other locations.
In the optional rules from Tactical Operations, I believe there is a rule allowing any pilot, regardless of equipment, to make shots aimed at specific locations, but it isn't something I've played with much.
--Edit-- I think there's a fourth from the core books - there is a pilot ability called Marksman that lets a pilot make aimed shots as if he had a Targeting Computer.

It isn't a lame question, but targetting specific areas is has a huge potential to unbalance the game. For things to be balanced, it has to be very rare and very hard to do, if it is allowed at all. This is a game where 'Mechs can absorb huge amounts of damage - letting someone surgically take apart a 'Mech really upsets the game balance because the 'Mechs are intended to be tanks.
If you haven't played BattleTech yet (but I assume you are planning to), I would recommend playing with the intro rules quite a lot before you start experimenting with this stuff. It has a lot of potential to mess with game balance.

Many, many years ago, while we were playing Second Edition Battletech shortly after it came out, we house ruled targeted locations or aimed shots. I forget exactly how we did it now (hey, it's been about 25 years) but it involved lots of negative impacts to our To-Hit rolls based on movement of both the target mech and firing mech (and head shots being ridiculously difficult) and it STILL managed to make the game feel unbalanced. I wouldn't suggest any rule that allowed called shots.

I just looked at my third edition rulebook from 1992. The advanced rules allows targeted shots against 'Mechs that have shut down or whose pilots are unconscious. It looks like the dice roll is pretty severe. Also, when missing a targeted shot, you determine hit location normally. If you missed a targeted head shot, then you ignore any hits to the legs when rolling the normal hit location.
I don't know how the 25th Anniversary Edition reads. I'm hoping to buy it within a month or two.
