Tonight im gonna have my first game night with 2 of my buddys and my gf. Its going to be my buddys first time playing board games with my gf and I .... so what should I bring out first to hopefully make this a every week or every other week thing? I just bought a used copy of twilight imperium today so I would like to get that in if they can handel it (I dont know if I can) or maybe ill save it for next time.
What games out of my collection should I set aside to play tonight?
Any other advice?

I would go with Carcassonne and Stone Age

I have never played Twilight Imperium, so no opinion there. I think the above poster"s suggestion is good. If it's your buddies first time playing board games it would be good to start with a couple fun games that are easy to explain and fairly short play time. Have fun and good luck!

1st time playing w/these friends? Absolutely do not bring out Twilight Imperium. Perhaps they will be interested in the future, but it's a game that requires the participants to want to play for many hours using a large rule set.
Agree with Carcassonne and Stone Age. Power Grid would be a good addition if they're intrigued by the thought of "enjoying a brain-burner."
After they are comfortable enough to be intrigued by new gaming experiences, I would start planting the seeds of Twilight Imperium; the game where you get to live through a massive, epic, space narrative.
Have fun!

Although Twilight Imperium is my favourite game of all time, I would never bring it out as the first game for people who I've never played board games with before.
EDIT: I'd recommend Galaxy Trucker. Personally, I find Carcassonne and Power Grid to be a bit boring, so they might be put off a bit by that, whereas Galaxy Trucker is a really fun game.

Poss: Walnut Grove - Haven't played it but it sounds right.
Agricola - could work but quite tricky to teach and not immediately fun. Power Grid - Too long and deep. Munchkin - Too random and long for me. Twilight Imperium (third edition) - 6 hours and the ruleset... forget about it. Stoner Fluxx - Never played it sounds terrible.
From my collection:
Main course: The Settlers of Catan w Catan: Cities & Knights Ticket to Ride: Europe Kingsburg
Starter: The Downfall of Pompeii Pandemic For Sale

I think the tried and true formula of Settlers of Cataan / Ticket to Ride / Pandemic is the way to go here, especially if this is something you are interested in doing long term. These have been highly successful gateway games for years so I would go with that to get them hooked. After that you can move on to more "gamer games."
I agree with what others said above, Twilight Imperium is an incredible game, but not appropriate for a first time game night.

I love Twilight Imperium. But newbies don't usually go in for a game that takes an hour to set up and explain the rules and 6+ more hours to play.
It is great. It is epic. But I wouldn't want to play it with just anyone.

+1 for Stone Age - so easy to explain for its depth, and so attractive
-1 for Carcasonne - people seem to find it frustrating. Not sure why. Maybe because it looks like a toy you'd buy a 4 year old. I think it annoys people to screw up at what looks like a kid's game. And your first few games you are definitely going to screw up.
I'm not saying it isn't a great game, just that I wouldn't start there.

Base Dominion is my go to game for the newbie.
Tiki Topple and Guillotine are always good for relative non-gamers, especially when a short session is of the essence.
Stone Age is good, but there's a lot going on for the real newbie. Ditto Power Grid.

From the games of your collection i'd also suggest Carcassonne or Stone Age and if you're friends are comfortable with the idea of farming, the entry level Agricola might also be an option.

Stone Age - but definitely go through yourself and make sure you really know all the rules so they're not there twiddling thumbs while you dig through the rule book - nothing turns off new gamers than waiting around to learn how to play, or disrupting play because the game explainer keeps forgetting stuff.
Twilight Imperium is one of my favorites, and ironically the last game I would ever consider breaking out in this situation. Even if they knew before hand how complex and involved it is and still wanted to play, and I had refreshed the rules for myself before hand and had a very firm grasp of them (side note: There are some good threads on BGG regarding the best way to teach games - reading aloud from the manual is usually considered the WORST way to teach a game) I would STILL not break out Twilight Imperium on a game "night." It's too long. Definitely a game to start during the day. Sorry, to put a damper on TI - if I just got it in the mail I'd want to break it out too! Trust those that have made this mistake and resist the urge! ...or don't.
Have fun!

Carcassonne and Agricola. Depending on the friend; throw in Stoner Flux.
