Is there an equivalent Rule of Three for how many resources a single card can provide during the Production phase. Last night I had a card that gave a Scrap for every Scrap-type location in play. I had four such locations, so the card (Factory, I think) was going to give me four (4) Scarp every turn. That seemed excessive so we made an in-game house rule to limit it to three resources per location.

Is there any such limitation, or should I have gotten four Scrap per Production phase?

As I recall, there is no rule limiting the resource production of cards per turn. So if the card allows you to produce 4 Scrap, then you get 4 Scrap tokens. Keep in mind that you must discard any excess resource tokens (other than those which are saved to the "storage" type cards) at the end of the turn during the maintenance phase. Unless you have a way to spend them all each turn, they'll be going to waste.

Exactly. There are no limits to production, but "a lot" doesn't necessarily mean "good". very often you simply lose resources at the end of the round.
