So this came up in a two-player game today. I had the Arena (at the end of each productive season, gain 1 VP if no opponent has more soldiers than you) and my fiancee had the Brewery (at the end of each Summer, lose one soldier and gain 1 VP and a +2 token).

Going into the end of Summer, I had 1 soldier and my fiancee had 2 soldiers. What is the "end of season" timing? Does she lose her soldier first, thus putting us at 1 soldier each (meaning I get the 1 VP for my Arena), or does the Arena "check" for number of soldiers before the Brewery activates (meaning I would not get the 1 VP for my Arena)?

Thanks!
Galen

your current turn order would determine who would go first.
