We had 4 players.....played 5 turns each.....here's what happened:
Player1) had a house fire so he decided to pray....the fire was put out and he gained the piety skill. He conversed with a false prophet....who covinced him to give him all his money...then run away. When he encountered a mystic fire, the player decided to drink...his companion took his canteen and poured it on the fire (to put it out), the player threw his companion on the fire and killed him....for which he became an outlaw. Later he tried to use a small artifact and found it was a hypnotic coin by which he could make people give him money (but it also made him lose interest in life). Given the choice to keep it or throw it away, he chose to throw it away which he did and gave away all his money he had earned from his coin so he was forced to become a beggar. When he met a mad prince, he decided to attack for this he was imprisioned in Leon.
Player2) Decided to question a dying hunchback....for this he contracted a disease. He then met a dying hag who he decided to attack. He examined a glittering artifact and found it was statue of a snake which appeared to be alive, when he hit it with his sword, he was able to kill the snake and then it turned to gold. He later met a malicious merman....he followed the merman and ended up pulling a sword on the merman who escaped into the water. He later conversed with a wealthy princess, but the encounter went no where.
Player 3) Met a ghostly beast, who ended up disappearing. He reached the pavilion of the black giant. He decided to enter the pavilion and ended up having a puzzle contest which he won (to avoid being eaten by the black giant) and gained a scholarship skill for his puzzle work. He tried to find love, but failed. He tried to "take" a ruined city (whatever that means!) and had no luck as all the artifacts were embedded in stone. He robbed a mad captain using his sneaking skills. Then he successfully fell in love and got married and settle in southern India.
Player 4) She met a crafty beggar who gave her a tip as to where she could buy black market goods. She honored an enchanted soldier. She met a disguised ne'er do well which told her a story so sad about lovers being persecuted by the vizier that she was stricken with grief. Finally she encountered an unknown beast.
We had a fun time....but I'm not sure I'd want to play more than 20 total turns....5 turns for a 4P game.

My biggest gripe about the game is that it is a fun game to play with kids, but there are some cards that can create situations where the game drags on endlessly (ie. the various conditions and states that you have to get rid of before you can win). We either ignore those cards or just let you win once you have enought points. Still, a really fun game with kids.
