Maybe a flow chart? I know I'll need a two-sided chart, one showing the ways the Robots always/never behave, and the other as a space to put a particular robot's rules.

I don't have time right now to do it or I simply would instead of asking others.

Agreed. Perhaps I should make a power grid robots helper app for the apple app store?

But I still don't think I fully understand it's resource buying rules. I think I understand his plant buying rules. And some of the robot parts still confuse me. But I'll writing up some questions in the rules section here as it looks like we've been getting plenty of official answers from the publishers.

edit: I totally should make a general power grid rules minder and helper app. And I'd include a robots area to cover various things.

That app sound like a really cool idea, but I am smart-phone-less so I was really hoping someone would make a printable player aid. I'll see what I can do this weekend.

I bought this on a whim, read the rules once and decided it would either be a confusing mess or gameplay would slow to a crawl everytime we needed to figure out what the robot's behaviour would be.

There are so many if/than statements in it's behavior, a flow chart seems to make sense.

Sounds cool. I am thinking it needs to be questions, like:

"are there 2 resources robot can buy at equal price?"

or

"are there 2 city connections of equal cost?"

And there would be it's normal procedures too.
