Last game my group played Hunker Down, using barricades for the first time. I had an explosive zombie on the board which can wound a hero in an adjacent space if it explodes. This zombie was in front of a barricaded building adjacent to two heroes in the building. One of the hero players remarked that the barricade the heroes were hiding behind should block the explosion.

I ruled that the barricade would not block the explosion, as there was nothing I ever read in the rules or FAQ stating how walls or barricades affect an explosion.

Just to be 100% sure, I thought I would post this, am I missing something in the rules?

Walls don't block an explosion, so neither would barricades.

Thanks for the reply, I figured as much but wanted to be certain. I will role-play it that shrapnel from pieces of the wall and/or barricade are flying everywhere.
