Is there a page where this information is located? I could not find exact dates for the con, even after some searching here and with google.

That means that BGG Con 2012 is being held November 14-18, 2012. It would be nice to post this information in an easily accessible place. Oh wait! I think I just did.

The way the dates work out this year is interesting because Monday is a Holiday. I wonder how many people might show up early to get some extra gaming in. For people that have to travel some distance, we would be taking Tuesday off anyway. The main limiting factor in getting there early would be the cost of the extra nights in the Hotel.

Veteran's Day.
I expect the impact of that holiday will not be THAT huge... while I personally say a word of thanks on that day, I know that it's not one that a lot of people get off of work anymore.

Except for Federal Employees. As a contractor working at a Federal facility I also get it off.

The weekend before we are running a Dallas Games Marathon event. 4200 square feet of gaming space and a nice little 300+ game library. So come on down to BGG Con early and start gaming the friday (Actually Thursday cause we do every thursday night) before and don't stop till the last sunday of BGG Con.

Wow! That's tempting. it looks like I'm going to have to break open the piggy bank to see if there's funds for a couple more days in Dallas.
Kind of wished I lived in Dallas now too. A monthly event like that would always give me something to look forward to.

After last year I was definitely tempted to knock off two more days of vacation to get four more days of gaming - but then I remembered that my wife is watching the kids while I'm away (they're still in school, so she doesn't get to join me until Friday), and while she is the most loving and understanding woman in the world, I don't know that I could ask her to watch the kids alone for that much longer...

In addition there is gaming every Tuesday at Ziggy's pub, every Wednesday at Go4it sports bar, every Thursday at the DGM site and every Saturday at Madness games and comics (Not that my wife lets me go to all of them )

That's because we're honouring *you*. We get the day off to think about all the hard work you've done/are currently doing.
It wouldn't be the same if you were lounging on your ass like the rest of us.

I think there is a high enough demand for this that I will create a dedicated discussion thread where we can register interest and discuss good ways to orchestrate the trade / exchange. Stay tuned...
BGG.CON just gets awesomer and awesomer!!!

If I were you I'd be more concerned with when the tickets go on sale. To the microsecond. Apparently last year they sold out within 37.9032s and this it's expected that the tickets will sell out so fast that we'll all go back in time and end up rescuing some humpbacks from Japanese whalers.
Just saying...
