I have recently acquired the 2nd Edition of War of the Ring and have been scouring the game's forums looking for simple helps in playing/teaching the game.
I think that the geeklist, War of the Ring + Expansion -> The definitive guide to increasing playability [Update: Now illustrated with 27 new photos] (My apologies for not knowing how to insert the link) put together by...

"Sometimes game rulebooks are meant to be used as a guide - not chiseled into stone tablets as scripture. If using a specific rule makes a game more fun for you, then it is not only your right - but it is your duty to change it." --Rob Bell

...is a fantastic resource for collecting exactly the types of ideas, files, etc. I've been interested in.
But it got me thinking...are any of these resources edition specific. The cheat sheets for quick set up, the FAQs linked too, the character cheat sheets...not having ever played the 1st edition I don't know if these resources are still accurate/compatible with 2nd edition.
So my request of all you wonderful producers of files, variants, resources, etc...could simply include a (1), (2), or (1/2) in the title of your files, threads, etc. To mark the edition compatibility as either 1st, 2nd or both.
Perhaps that's a larger request then I realize, but it could make approaching the vast quantity of content for this game a little easier.
Thanks for so much fan love and being willing to share all the great work you do.
