Well, I think I've decided I don't like mummies!

Pick up 9 extra mummies.

Steve has certainly shown the benefit of heroic. Man. It takes on a whole new benefit with the relics and places.

4 take 40 (dead ID wisp)
5 take 13 (dead ID wisp)

Redeploy
2 on everything.

Score:

7 mummies
2 shrooms

But they can't occupy the river, that's the Kraken.

Just kidding, they're seafaring. What're the odds?

Question: Does Thieving affect regions with Heroes in them?

Hm, I'd thought that it would work (as with the Gnomes), but it turns out that Heroes do protect from Thieving in the regions they occupy:

Quote:
At the end of your turn, place each of your 2 Heroes in 2 different Regions you occupy. These 2 Regions are immune to enemy conquests as well as to their racial and special powers until your Heroes move. Your Heroes disappear when you go into Decline.

I can't believe I got paid 2 coins to take these Sorcerers. Of course, they've always been my favorite SW race. What does that say about me?

So if I get the troop from the Fountain at the start of turn, can I then abandon the Fountain?

Well assuming I can, here goes. 1 extra troop from Fountain, abandon 62, 8 troops in hand.

Balrog'ed! The Balrog moves to 43 and crushes two Mimes, whose screams went unheard.
Artifact'ed! 1 pimped out Sorcerer with socks, sword, and carpet swoops onto 16 and chases off an ID 'zon to the tray.
Highlander'ed! 4 Sorcerers take 22, crashing through yet another shield and making the Barb go bye-bye.
Bushwhacked'ed! 3 Sorcerers catch a Giant in the forest, and turn him into a Newt (he didn't get better).
Zap'ed! One final zap makes the Giant on 26 into an over-sized Sorcerer. That's my mountain, dammit!

Redeploy:
Heroes in 16 and 56.
2 in 26.
The rest in 53.

Score:
7(Regions) + 1(Keep) + 2(Scepter) = +10

Don't know if that'll be enough, but I'm hopefully protected from all those dirty dirty thieves.

Steve, which giant in a forest? There are a couple you could have hit, and you didn't list the territory.

I think all I can do is kingmaking. I can't hit Steve. I'm going to go with my first instinct, and get the most points, even though I think it ends up helping Steve win.

Pick up 7 extras
4 take 55 - 1 giant to tray, 1 to Paul, and -1 gold ransacked from Paul
3 take 25 - 1 giant to tray, and -1 gold ransacked from Paul

Redeploy: Put all the extras on 36

Score: +6 (territories) +1 (amazon) +2 (ransacking) = +9

I don't know how much kingmaking that actually was. Everyone except Paul and I are getting robbed by those Shadow Mimes, and I chose the defensive positioning while Paul went expansionist.

I don't think I need to wait for a new map.

7 extra mummies.

3 take 8
3 take 9
1 rolls for 10 (need 2) 1 rolls for 10, need 2. 1custom6{0;0;0;1;2;3} = (0) = 0

Man. Did I get ONE roll all game?

Ok. Redeploy is irrelevant.

+ 9 Mummies
+ 2 Shrooms
= 11.

Fun times. Did Steve or Paul win?
