I'm new to blood bowl and I've been doing some reading. It appears that LRB6 was the most recent rules addition, and that there has been some "fallout" since the LRB6 creation.

So my question is: is there going to be an LRB7?

It seems to me that as all games progress, their rules need to update, or they die. So is blood bowl on the way to stagnation, or are there people working on the next LRB?

LRB 6 is stable, I think it's a well evolved rule set. You never know with GW, unless some kind of unexpected anniversary edition turns up, they've more or less stopped developing the game. But you can get sets, download the rules, and there are many really decent third party teams available.

Brilliant game, give it a go.

I am getting a bit confused as to what rules to use. Some links mentioned on the BB LRB page are dead, as are others in threads.

Some are still alive, and I've found a 7s ruleset (a quicker version), a Tournament ruleset, and a Complete ruleset, copyrighted 2010, all from the GW site (albeit through direct links, searching didn't help me).

Also, this base set, still third edition now I assume, has rules in it...

Which are which and which do I use for what?
