Congratulations Eric, this is very well deserved. Good choice James.

1 What game would you like to play if the two of us met for a game?

2 Are you, or have you been, a roleplayer?

3 Do you yearn to play some game that your regular game buddies refuse to play?

4 Do you have an old favorite game that you wax about nostalgically, but cannot quite bring yourself to get to the table again, and if so, why?

5 What influences your love of Merchant of Venus, is it the fact that it's a pick-up-and-deliver game, its theme of exploring space, or something completely different? Whatever it is, do you have a top five list of such games?

6 If you had the chance to go back in time and give young Eric, who is just about to fall in love with board games some advice or perhaps even a stack of games, would you?

Have a great week and enjoy the honor of being Geek of the Week.

Hey Eric! What is the highest number of different Australian accents you've had to do for a single book series?

Can you please confirm for Octavian that Australian's don't have accents? shake

Nice pick James,

CONGRATULATIONS Eric!

Nothing much wargame-wise in your posted collection.
1 Ever play any wargames?
2 What would entice you to play?

A voice artist, wow. I thought the Dice Towers sounded unusually professional.
1 What was your best voice job ever?
2 What's the biggest difference between reading a story (for yourself) and reading a story for work? Besides the money.
3 Do you read to your kids?
4A If not, why not? angry
4B If so, do they realize what a treat they're getting?
5 Ever get to meet anyone famous on/for the job? After all, you held David Bowie's balls. whistle (maybe)

A retired curler?
How can you be a retired curler? Curling is what you do when you retire.
Were you a professional?

Enjoy your week in the spotlight!

Some Questions to get things started:

1AmazingIntern, why did you choose that to be your username?
2You started off playing games like Monopoly, Risk and Dark Tower with your family. How have their tastes changed over the years, what are their favourite games to play at the moment?
3If "Weird Al" Yankovic was a gamer, he would be best at what game?

1The name AmazingIntern came from a news producer named LeAnne Agne at my first internship at WWMT-3 in Kalamazoo, MI. she was taken with my enthusiasm, and gave me the name while I ran around the news room, preparing scripts for the morning broadcast. The name stuck due to my long list of subsequent internships, including three radio stations, The Children's Television Workshop, and The Jim Henson Company.
2My interest in these designer games has certainly influenced the family. these days, when we get together, they really like to play Bohnanza, Can't Stop, Ticket to Ride, and TransAmerica.
3While I'm sure Al would gravitate to something silly like Devil Bunny Needs a Ham, he's a smart guy, and I think it would be fascinating to play against him in a meaty Euro like Antike.
