I am going to play A Game of Thrones for the first time tomorrow, any tips?

-Supply is very important
-Always try to have at least one star order available
-Do not conquer 5th castle if you cannot win very fast
-Do not trust anybody
-Betray every time you think it's worth
-Sea is powerful
-Gain power tokens
-Use strong cards only in meaningful battles
-Sometimes attack to loose, to use your weak cards (and gain faster strong back to your hand)
-Think what orders to play before planning phase

Thanks

Agreed. Way too easy.

I recognized them all. My wife only had trouble with the last one (bottom-right) -- the character just isn't as popular here as he is in other parts of the world. I grew up with the comics (in Germany), but she'd never even heard of him before. I think the French channels here used to show it on tv as well.

Yeah I didn't know that one either.

I didn't know the bottom-right one either. Never saw it, and for some reason I can't figure out the second to last one on the left. (The one above the bottom-left)

Don't tell me it's so. Next you tell me that you haven't heard of Tintin.

Does not really surprise me, Americans and all that...
They heard of Tintin because they saw the movie

Is this somehow Dr. Who related? Because if it is, someones going to feel the love pain.
Why did you start that topic!!

I think I have a suicide wish.

We in the States love to send our pop culture all over the world, but only import small selections from abroad. I'll bet you 2/3 of people in the US still don't know who Tintin is even with the movie.

We even got the Germans to take Hasselhoff and the French to take Jerry Lewis. Win win for us.

We got revenge by sending you Celine, Martin Short and Nickelback

I don't have favorites, but I don't really like Kaley Cuoco (The actress that play Penny), not a good actress.

As bad as Bieber is, he's no Nickelback. But I have to say Canada has been quite cruel to the US when it comes to the music scene.

I just want to say, God, on behalf of all of us thank you for all of the good things we do in your name, like charity and forgiveness. That’s an idea we would never come up with. That’s for sure. You know that better than anybody.

True, but we did spare you the musical stylings of the Hoff. We made sure he made it all the way to Germany.
