I have been wanting this expansion since it came out and when I went to buy it I couldn't find it anywhere. Little did I know it had been recalled. I finally found it at my FLGS and bought it. I got home and went to BGG to look for a FAQ which FFG usually has out pretty quickly. That is when I found out about all the problems with this set.

So, I sent FFG customer service an e-mail last Wednesday, 29 March 2012, asking for a fix pack. I have yet to hear back from them. Are they still sending out the packs, even for someone who bought the set after the recall?

I don't know for sure but I've got to believe that they would send out the fixpack, after all, you've got a game with faulty parts I don't think it matters when you bought it.

I just got the standard reply from FFG listing the components that will be in the repair kit. So, I guess that answers the question that yes, they will still patch the an expansion bought after the recall.

I'll let you know when it gets here.

I had the same experience as you guys.

I got my reply about 2 weeks after I sent in my initial inquiry.

Why they don't at least send out an automated response so that you know your email didn't get lost is beyond me...

They used to have an automated response when Thaadd was working there, but sounds like quality control has slipped since then. It's too bad, replacing messed up, lost or broken parts was something they used to excel at.

The replacement parts came today. Didn't get any warning that it shipped but in the end, I got the parts.

That is pretty good service.

I will say that I am pleased with the overall result as the parts arrived at my within days of the email.

I just think the experience could be improved if the initial feedback was quicker -- even if that meant I was technically waiting a tad longer for the parts themselves.

But overall, thanks FFG!

I contacted them on Jan 3, never got a response, and still haven't gotten the parts.

I have decided that perhaps being patient will not work, and I have sent them another email.
