I find the cards to be a bit on the thin side. I normally would laminate them, but the board allows absolutely no tolerance around the cards and it would be an overlapping nightmare when things get congested.

Are there any sleeves that you could recommend that are the size of the cards (almost exactly)?

Input- or other suggestions- appreciated.

So many threads on this.

The short story is nothing fits exactly. Word on the street is that PHG is investigating having a run of sleeves manufactured.

In the mean time, anything made in the EURO size (Mayday, FFG, etc) should work, but be a tad long. You could also use yugiho (sp?) sleeves but they come out a tad short. Both fit well on the card width, but length is the issues.

I use mayday euro penny sleeves.

Here's some of the discussion so far:

There's no perfect sleeve for Summoner Wars. The two closest are Mayday Euro and UltraPro (small/yugioh)... In my experience the Maydays are less consistent and are too long. UltraPros fit almost perfectly but are just a millimeter or so short, so the card hangs out (you can see it a little bit in that last linked thread from Jexik). I use the UltraPros but I could see how the millimeter hang out might drive some people crazy.

I guess it'd be better to be too long, rather than too short - you could always trim them, I guess. If you're careful

I'd be interested, some day, in getting variously-colored opaque-backed sleeves in colors that match the faction colors. But you're talking a pretty large expense there, and with the questions around fit, I have not yet tried it.

But it would be neat to 'hide' the mercenary units with opaque backs.

I did a comprehensive study of sleeves for SW here:

Apologies for causing any unnecessary repetition of threads....I just started playing SW a month ago and did look through the back pages to find any info. Should have checked out the pre-Master Set listing.

I do thank those who replied, however. It does seem as if there is no perfect answer yet, but I will try some of the suggestions. Thanks.
