Wow! I loved this game when I was younger and discovered it at the back of a cupboard a few days ago! I was thrilled to find it and on opening remembered that I had copied every single large card onto mini cards too!
Brilliant game!laugh

I never got to play that one, but did used to play Mystic Wood which uses the same sort of mechanic (was designed by the same guy). My Uncle and Auntie had that sitting in their cupboard for years, and when I finally thought of asking them if I could buy it off of them (so I could introduce my nephew and niece to a game I played at their age) I discovered they had given it to a second hand store two weeks earlier! Aaargh! So I'm making/designing my own game now inspired by Mystic Wood and The Sorcerer's Cave instead.

In any case, congrats on the great find!

Not compatible with Windows 7, it seems.

That's too bad. Did you try "compatibility mode"?

Re: Sorcerer's Cave
It won't run under 64-bit versions of Windows. Sorry about that.

Great game and introduced my youngest to games with it , he loved this one and for a junior school project (9 years) he made a spoof Christmas version.

I noticed there seems to be a kickstarter clone in process. Hope you still have ©

Peter, we ever likely to see reprints of Sorceror's Cave or Mystic Wood? I'm sure there's a lot of fans out there still who would like to see updated reprints.

The map tiles/cards ?

But then it might fit on a tabletop and you wouldn't have the thrill of risking gamer's knee.
