If a plane is forced to draw a random Navigation card (due to an Aerial Harpoon hit or a botched Torpedo launch) but its current speed is too low for the card that gets drawn, what happens?


What I *think* happens is you simply play the card as-is and move to the space that matches your current speed, but I could see valid arguments for replacing it with a "Cruise" or simply redrawing until a legal card is found.


I'm almost positive that this came up at some point in the past, but I can't recall the ruling, the rules don't address it directly, and the FAQ, if there ever was one(?) is MIA...

I dunno. A house rule with either option works, but make sure everyone knows how that would play out before the game starts.
