Just got the expansion and played the 1st game. I have the original German edition of CoB. The expansion tiles look different.. They have more contrast and more color saturation. That is especially noticeable on the Goat tile. Backs are also different.

Can somebody who has English edition (with the game title in English on the box front) see if tiles match?

I have the English version, and I think the tile colors match really well. The problem I have is that the promo tiles were centered too well. All my game tile backs are off center, so I can tell the promos by how evenly spaced the edges are.

They don't match my Burgen von Burgund version well at all.

I think it's time to move to drawing out of bags for this game.

Agree. I feel like the promo tiles are slightly thicker as well (but then they'd just about have to be).

Just to be sure, I made some scans:

Expansion tiles are on the left. I think the differences are pretty obvious.

There are scans of tiles from the English edition in the gallery:

It looks like tile backs match the expansion tiles better, but the fronts are still a little bleak.

Can somebody with English edition once again confirm these differences, please?
