Actually the cards would be printed on the same sheet, so they would get 3 copies of each after cut anyway.

So why not giving you the extra identity cards instead of trashing them?

Scorched Earth is over-represented in our meta. Plascrete Carapace is very welcome.

Project Atlas. I already liked Weyland a fair bit and I think this card is unreal.

I can't wait to give Imp a try as well.

I agree that having an answer is a very good thing. Takes away the inevitability of the Scorched Earth strategy.

That's what the real problem is - that you can just grind it out until you have 2 Scorched earth in hand and a good trace/Posted Bounty. Now you're going to have to race to find your combo before they're behind their Plascrete.

Also, the fact that it is a Hardware and there are still currently no answers to Hardware mean that it is a solid counter to the strategy.

Project Atlas is pretty strong. Play it as a 5/2 agenda and use it to pull whatever cards you're missing to kill the runner that turn. The key is that the tutor effect doesn't require a click.

I don't know - a better SEA Source that doesn't require a card seems like a decent alternative to what Priority Req was giving you.

I think it might be my second favorite of the new Agendas. I just wish the Jinteki one wasn't such a suck out. I don't know maybe I need to reevaluate ice cost reduction when it is on such a mass scale.

Plus you can pump a Junebug to infinity and make the runner sweat it out wondering if you're going to have free ice for the rest of the game or not.

What?!

Restructured Datapool is awesome! Tag the runner at will! This with closed accounts and psychographics will be brutal.

I think this is a large part of the value of these new Agendas that can be pumped indefinitely, or just have very large advancement costs: they give the runner more pause to think about whether you have a big score coming up, or a big trap.

Yes, FFG could have added value by publishing 6 new identity cards in this pack instead of only 2, but that would make this pack more valuable than later ID-less packs by a significant margin. Think about it this way: now you have a reason to look forward to packs that lack identities - you'll get four more playable cards.

or 3 new identity (just one more) and one extra new card of whatever.

Plascrete Carapace is the only Runner card I care much about...maaaybe also Imp, but the Crim and Shaper additions are practically insulting
But man, those new agendas are all pretty great, IMO.
Also a whole bunch of you called the new HB identity

I think Helpful AI is interesting. Could combo well with some things. In general though you're right, runner cards are pretty unimpressive in this set while the Corp stuff is really nice.

Point by point:

-Whizzard's been discussed a fair bit. I like him, but I think I like Noise more. Maybe just because I'm on a Data Dealer kick. Also Imp directly makes him less appealing in comparison to Noise.

-Spinal Modem is great, but I like it more in Kate than anywhere else right now.

-Imp reads badly but being able to trash ice from R&D is probably good, and it doesn't die when it counts out, so you can pawn it.

-Morning Star don't afraid of nobody.

-Cortez Chip has already been discussed numerous times.

-Peacock's better than aurora, because you don't have to pump it for Enigma, but it's WAY worse than blade.

-Key Master is interesting. The Cloud bonus might end up being relevant, but Shaper's waiting on something else to do with their MU, because the Cloud icebreakers want you to play all three of them.

-Helpful AI is the stone cold nuts, at least as a splash in Anarch to push Yog.0 over Tollbooth range for a whole turn.

-Plascrete Carapace is alright. It's a pressure valve on Scorched Earth combo that you don't have to splash for.

-Project Atlas is the best agenda in the game or something.

-Mandatory Upgrades costs 6. Freaking 6. But I'm tempted anyway.

-Braintrust is good. It'd be underwhelming outside of Jinteki, but it looks so much like a Junebug...

-Restructured Datapool is just not worth 5 for 3. It's super-irritating for the runner if they don't have link, but it's not good.

-Stronger Together sucks until somebody proves otherwise, mostly because Engineering the Future is so good.

-Ash is okay. I don't think it compares particularly favorably or unfavorably to Red Herrings, which is also okay.

-Janus is interesting. It's like HB's own little baby Archer, but freaking 15... At least you can hit it with Beta Test and Priority Req.

-Snowflake is exactly what Jinteki needs. It's super cheap, it ends the run a lot of the time, and it's fun and cool.

-TMI seems really terrible, NBN pretty much got screwed this pack. Maybe if they get a card that benefits them whenever they win traces somewhere down the line?

-Caduceus has been discussed, but I like it.

-Draco has been discussed, I don't like it very much.

I wonder if there's going to be a highlighted faction in each pack. The Anarchs come out of this one with some great ideas, and perhaps the Crims and the Shapers were downplayed in order to focus on their faction... just like HB for the Corps, who come out of this pack refreshed and rebooted. Their agenda is insane.

4 credit cost - Console

+1 Memory, 2 Recurring Credits (use these credits only for using icebreakers).

During a run if you're successfully traced then you suffer a brain damage.

2 influence.

it is like a 5 credit cheaper and slightly worse Toolbox with a drawback.

Thanks! That was super helpful.

Cheaper Toolbox without the link, less memory and a downside. Not sure how good it is.

I was hoping for a little more NBN love... I guess that'll probably be next pack. Absolutely loving the looks of Imp though.

The Haas-Bioroid stuff is just silly... but I want to try it anyway! The prospect of the Corp getting an additional action is just too scary.
