Yep, a mere one day later, What Lies Ahead is not only ready to use in OCTGN but also fully scripted for your convenience. Not only that, but I took the opportunity to add post-trace automations given how much attention this mechanic is receiving in this data pack group.

What this means for you is that you have less buttons to click for your various tracing cards, as their effects will function automatically as long as the runner uses their trace card to calculate and announce their base link. So, as a runner, don't forget to do this. Even if you are already winning via existing base link!.

Because of this automation, I've removed secondary abilities from ICE and Operations which were meant to be used after a successful trace, so less click for you .

Because of the scope of the updates, I've made a large update to v2.0.0. You will not be able to install What Lies Ahead unless you upgrade to this version! so make sure you do that first. You will need to update your core set as well but in order to not lose your uncensored sets, you can simply use the handy patch I've created. Find it at the bottom of the sets thread.

So go forth and run!

Download links for Game Definition 2.0.0 (Don't forget the markers set!)

i actually play on my iMac via bootcamping to Win7 and it works perfectly.

that said, i think i read somewhere that an OSX-native OCTGN client is in the works, which would be great.

So with the patch (Patch 2.0.0.o8p) for my core cards (which I need to install first), I won't need Netrunner 2.0.0.o8g. However, I will need Markers 2.0.0.o8s and What Lies Ahead 2.0.0.o8s.

Is that correct?

The MAC users can play after they release a version that doesn't require admin rights to install. Not that I would play at work, but I know a guy ...

No. You will still need the main game definition. What you will not need is to redownload the core set. You can just patch what you have.

I upgraded to v2.0 last night, including the new markers and core set file.

However, when I come to replace the censored images with my own, I get an error.

This is what I am doing (I've done it ok everytime before)

1. change the o8s file to .zip
2. extract
3. replace the images in my cards folder with my own (they have the same name)
4. rezip
5. change back to .08s

Done it many times before, but now I get this error when trying to install it: Sequence contains no elements

Are you zipping as a directory, or are you going into the directory and zipping everything in it?

I.e. your zip file should not contain just a single directory at its root.

Also, the extension is .o8s, not .08s

Uploaded version 2.0.1. This version (should) fix the broken stats submission so please update to it ASAP. It should also address Draco being seen as restricted card, but not Friendly AI. The latter I'll have to fix with a set update and new patch.

You can download the latest core from my links above. If you are having trouble using the patch, just download it again and install that.

The latest is all censored. I got my hands on an uncensored without a trace but cant find an uncensored core set for 2.0

Also some instructions for using your patch would be nice.
