I have some variant counters from Battles magazine (I forget which issue) available free.

First to respond by GeekMail gets them.

Some rules:

1. Not available to anyone whose copy of the game is unpunched or who is intending to sell.

2. When responding by GeekMail please put "Patton's Best counters" or similar in the subject line (I am offering counters in a number of games and that makes it easier to see things at a glance in the inbox).

3. Please send me an address!

We few,we happy few,we band of brothers; For he today that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother: be he ne’er so vile; And gentlemen in England now-abed Shall think themself accurs’d they were no here That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.

You should have scanned them in so we could PnP them. OR are they already available for this? Did I just miss it somewhere? OR... I am wrong to guess it isn't too late to scan it...whistle

Not sure where we stand with Copyright on this as it appears BM issue #6 was still in print as of July 2011

Anyway, I don't have them yet, but there's a scan of both sides of the three counters on this link:

www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/673516/pattons-best-counters-fr...

Not the highest resolution (and the SU-100 looks faint), but it may suffice given size of counters.

There's also an additional link to the BM article/charts etc.

Regards

Steve

Thanks for that info Steve! I never noticed that... blush You know... that SU-100 looks faint in the PDF file too. Bad printing I suppose.

It says...

RECTO

VERSO

Uh... not sure, but I suppose it means Front and Back?

NEVERMIND.... I looked it up:

Wikipedia wrote:
The recto and verso are respectively the "front" and "back" sides of a leaf of paper in a bound item such as a codex, book, broadsheet, or pamphlet. In languages written from left to right (such as English) the recto is the right-hand page and the verso the left-hand page. These are terms of art in the binding, printing, and publishing industries, and can be applied more broadly to any field where physical documents are exchanged.

Thanks again for that Heads Up!

Jim
