Hi to all, and best wishes ,)

In our sessions at the Castle Ravenloft we would like to use the Monster Token and the initiative rule "white arrow/black arrow" to make the most exciting quests.

But… we should use all the tokens present in the box or create a special deck with only 12 token?
Ah, about a treasure we used this nice rules:

You how you play with a monster token?

Thanks in advance.

Like the old video game Gauntlet. Instaed of drawing a monster card when exploring a new tile, plop down a monster token (minus the villians) and thats how many monsters it generates each round (even if the heroes are not on the tile) A hero has to be adjacent to it to destroy it. Monsters that spawn from it appear adjacent to it.

Forces the heroes to stay together. Wandering creates too many generators and monsters which will quickly kill the heroes. Increases difficulty of the game also.

We usually only do these for custom games. It doesn't work so well for the regular game.

You use all the tokens excepts the villain tokens. Of course, if you you play the Ravenloft Campaign variant, you mix the villains alsodevil.
