Standing = score < 50
Lying = 50 < score < 100
On Head = 100 < score < 150

Its a rotational progression so its not hard to remember.

For those who (like me) didn't get it the first time they read it ... he's referring to the meeples on the scoring board.

(Yeah, I thought he was talking about the player... if your score is under 50, you need to stand up... and nobody sits down at the game!)

Yeah, I should have mentioned that I know about this scoring method. I just prefer doing it the way I do it.

Psssh. This is the most ridiculous suggestion I've ever heard. It should obviously be:

Lying = score < 50
Standing = 50 < score < 100
On Head = 100 < score < 150
On side = 150 < score < 200.

This order is maybe less logical at first, but it's in order of how hard it is to get your meeple to land like that if you roll it like a die. (Obviously, to determine who gets to go first. )

That's how I do it, except I think I switch the last two positions (been a while since I played). If I had the components handy, the paper clip idea is much more elegant, though.

Hmm, I'd think it be interesting to do a version where you can only score 0-49, and have to start scoring over once you did a lap. . . a lot more planning ahead and AP I expect.

you have a rule for how to score for lying? I thought the whole point of lying was to get any score you could get away with.
