Or maybe PowerGrid?
Yeah, that's me. Handsome devil, I know.
My wife and I had about a half hour to kill today, and we played a quick game of Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age.
I got enough goods/coins on my first turn that i was able to Purchase Agriculture, then a lucky roll of 3 3-Food on turn 2 gave me enough food for several turns that i could spend the next few turns collecting goods and buying cheap developments. I also got a few more dice to roll.
My wife, meanwhile, kept rolling food and population and adding dice and building monuments.
I noticed I had built 4 developments and let her know that if i built another, the game would end.
Sure enough, I rolled 7 goods, 2 coins, and some food (this also gave her -3 as she had not Developed Medicine to counter the Pestilence roll). I bought Engineering to end the game. She scored 5 in developments, -3 in disasters, and 8 in monuments for a score of 10. I scored 17 in developments, -2 in disasters, and no monuments for a score of 15.
She immediately demanded a rematch.
