As asked in the thread subject, the second edition from Z-Man will have any new rules or fixes compared to Portal Publishing first edition?

Thanks, Ignacy!

Just asked because I have the Portal edition and would like to know if I should expect any changes

Yes, ZMan team works on wording - so there are no errors and unclear paragraphs in rulebook and on cards.

I am in touch with them on Skype - when they change wording in some paragraph they check it with me if this is not affecting rules in some way.

Nice to know this. I was afraid this kind of change could also affect rules /cards in the new version.

That sounds great. I'll buy that version.

Personaly I would prefer (standard) English spelling & grammar, as it's more thematic with Robinson Crusoe.

However as it's being printed by a US publisher I am assuming it will be American English instead.

English ("British") would be best, I agree, but American English would be great. I have played this game and my group was a bit put-off by the poor translation. Here's hoping for a better one, because the game itself is very well-done.
